Keeping with the “b” words…to add to my “bump” announcement of a few weeks ago, Evan proposed! Check out the bling…
Shortly after…like less than 12 hours after he gave me this stunner…he left on a plane for Vancouver for a week. I wish I could say that I missed him…but I had my ring to stare at.
I also helped my Mom adopt a puppy…her name is Ivy and I am completely obsessed with her…
She was found on the streets in Montreal at around 8 months, and sent to the Boston Terrier Rescue Canada which is an amazing organization and I am SOOO happy that they helped us find Ivy.

We had to go to Barrie to collect her, however my Mom had a previously booked trip and therefore I took Ivy back home to Thunder Bay with me and she spent a week with her new big brother, my little brother Rick. I think it’s safe to say that they got along….
Yes, she has some “training” to get through…such as actually learning her name, not eating grass and not jumping up and head-butting you as she tries to give kisses. However, given that she is a rescue and is only a year old…we have decided to be patient. Also, as much as I love her, I will also never fly with her again…she didn’t bark, or even whine a little bit (people on the plane didn’t even know that there was a dog on there!) but it was soooo stressful…I can only imagine what flying with my own child will be like! And really….who can get mad at THIS FACE?
So, if you are looking for a new 4-legged best friend…and like Boston Terrier’s…I highly recommend that you check out Boston Terrier Rescue Canada, and if you are looking for any other type of breed, check out Pet Finder and give a dog a bone…or at the very least a new forever home!
